In 2021, the iconic Nick News returned to the airwaves with a groundbreaking new format where a group of young correspondents jet-set across the globe on a mission to inform and inspire Generation Alpha. In 2023, the show was awarded an Emmy for Editing in the Children and Family category.

Eric’s contributions to the show allowed him to utilize his entire filmmaking toolset, like filming in precarious locations (like on top of a rollercoaster), cultivating fun performances from non-actors, and sprinkling in traditional hand-drawn animation. Each of these segments was approached with playful creativity.
